I’m not a lover of Halloween. I’ve never been a fan of spooky stuff or hyperactive kids high on sugar. However I will take advantage of any reason to dress up. There are so many options, here are some of my favourite go-to’s…
5. The Zombie Bride
Not the most imaginative, but you can’t go wrong with this. In fact just zombify any character that springs to mind and you’ve got your halloween costume. But just because you’ve gone for the zombie doesn’t mean you can’t glam the thing up…
However, if you’re a fan of Halloween in all it’s gory glory, then you could go the full Lohan on this one…
4. The Feline.
This is a classic. Everyone loves the pussy. Plus it’s the easier option, just throw on some leather and a pair of cat ears and you’re sorted.
3. Cruella De Vil.
Sassy as shit. Pull out your black and whites and your winter furs and take the dog for a walk.
The Panther De Ville is optional…
2. The Ledger.
Based on one of my favourite characters from one of my most favourite scenes…
Harley Quinn is overrated and overdone. I love this bad boy of a costume…
Don’t go for the slutty nurse, go for the joker nurse. It’s far more fun.
1. Magenta.
I’ve spent most Halloween’s dressed like this – Magenta from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
It’s a fun one, especially if your pals are joining in with the Rocky Horror theme. So many characters, so many pairs of stockings.
